disney cruise line questions?

ok, so my mom and i just saw a special on the disney cruise line, and we went online and found a pretty good deal for our family of 4. i want to hear from people who have actually been on a disney cruise, and tell me if its really worth going or if i should look at a different cruise line. we want to go on a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas. if you have been on any of the disney cruises, let me know how it was, and would you recommend it? at the time we would have my mom, her boyfriend, my sister who is 19 and myself, and im 15. and if you dont think a disney cruise is good, what cruise line is better? thanks so much!

If you like Disney then Disney cruise is the way to go. They are more expensive than regular cruises, but you get the Disney experience.

All the cruise lines offer good food and service as well as all kinds of shows, pools, games, activities.
Some are more formal and have better service but cost more.
Check with vacationstogo.com and cruisedeals.com and compare. Pick one you can drive to and from, book inside cabins, avoid buying drinks on board and have a blast. At your ages you will enjoy.

Many cruises on many lines.

I have actually been on that specific cruise. there is stuff for people of your age groups, it’s not just for little kids. there is a club for the teens, which there are a lot of, which is actually pretty fun. there are tons of "adult only" stuff too, as well as family stuff if you wanted to do that kind of thing. there is, of course, a lot of stuff for the little kids, but not enough that it’ll be really annoying just walking around the ship. still, if you don’t have a good sense of spirit for the disney characters, then it will get old, since all their party stuff includes them.
the one thing I would suggest you look into really well is the land excursions for Nassau. if you don’t pick the right thing, then you might not like it. choose wisely.
Castaway Cay is awesome in every way, so there’s nothing to worry about with that one. kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, biking, giant beaches, boat and jetski rentals, and some more are all on that awesome little place.
at night, there will of course be dinner, in which the food is some of the best I’ve had. there are three restaurants,( and then the adult only restaurant) with tropical, Italian, and French cuisines.
they take great pictures all over for you too;)
then there’s the shows. the stage ones are great, and there is also a comedy one across the way from the main one that is REALLY fun. I’m not sure what they’ll be showing now for one of them since I went in the summer, but there are three stage shows and one movie night. at the time, the movie was GForce, but then you could go to the actual movie theatre to go see the Proposal instead. I’m assuming the movies would be different by now.
and, for reasons I do not know, they announce each family’s arrival upon boarding;)
well, that’s most of it, though I’m sure I probably missed something, enjoy it if you decide to go!:D

I’ve been on a Disney cruise before and it was pretty awesome! All the rooms are pretty big for a cruise ship, the service is amazing, and the food is really good. All the shows are by Disney so you can expect those to be good. There are a lot of things for adults to do as well as younger kids. There’s a teen area with activities but I ended up just making friends and hanging out with them on the ship. There are a lot of excursions so pick one (or more) that you/your family think sound fun. I loved the Disney cruise and highly recommend it. Royal Caribbean is also a good line but the food and teen activities, in my opinion, leave a lot to be desired.

I highly recommend Disney Cruise Line. Disney has a teen area where you can meet other teens and hang out. It’s really fun cruise.
