What is the best cruise line for a family? And if you want a cruise during the summer, when should you buy?

My family consists of mom and dad ,a 17 year old guy (me), a 15 year old boy, and an 11 year old girl. My parents are thinking of going on either Carnival or Disney, but i looked at the websites and youtube vids (post your vacations for all the world to see!!!) and Carnival seems for more of an older generation, and I think Disney is just assinizing, with Mickey and friends constantly surrounding you. Royal Carribean looks perfect, but i don’t know. Give me your imput, expereiences, youtube vids, etc., and be brutally honest. We need a damn vacation!!!

Hello.
I’ll be going on my fifth cruise in July and all of my cruises were with Royal Caribbean.
I felt that Royal was a good choice because they have so much going on. Actually, my mom had to force me to go the the meet and greet for my age group on the first night, (I was 14 at the time and thinking I was too cool for that stuff). A few people introduced themselves, and I saw what activities wee going on and I was excited to participate in those activities.

The Royal caribbean excursions were great too. We’ve been to the caribbean several times and we always book excursions through the cruiselines. Doing this, we’ve swam with dolphins, turtles, and so much more. I could go on and on, but that would take a while.

My parents book our cruises around March, I don’t really know if there’s a reason, or if it just works out tha wayy.

Okay well you should def. look into Royal Caribbean.

Have fun!

Also I forgot to mention that I would book a cruise now. Royal Caribbean is running a special that the 3rd & 4th guests are only $99 plus taxes per person. That’s a great savings. And the 1st and 2nd rates are still great also. I have the email they sent me if you would like me to forward it.

You can begin by browsing at

http://www.cruising.org

The website lists several options such as destinations and length of cruises as well as the different lines available. You can check what best suits your family’s needs and budget. You’ll also have to consider visa regulations in place for your nationality at various ports where the cruiseliner will dock.
