I live in Southern California and for highschool graduation I want to go on a cruise with my friends. I want to know a cruise line that is nice, fun (for older teens, I don’t want it to be crowded with little kids. So probably no Disney cruise lol) and pretty cheap. (i want all my friends to go so that means the parents have to pay for it, although i want to get a suite) I was looking at Carnival cruise line cause they look good, but i don’t know what ship is the best. We would probably just go to mexico, but anywhere would be fun. Departure from San Diego or LA would be best. I also don’t want a short cruise, at least 5 days, the longer the better.
I understand that a parent has to be there, Im not stupid. I just want to know good cruise lines and ships.

I have cruised from both San Diego and LA and in my opinion the best cruise for you would be on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas. The ship has lots of things for you to enjoy on ship like the rock climbing wall, mini-golf course, ice skating, roller skating, basketball, a karaoke bar, and a special area of the ship for teens called Adventure Ocean with a teen disco area that’s open until about 2:00 AM every evening. Its called Fuel.

We cruised on this ship a few years ago when it had its home port in Port Canaveral and it is truly a fun ship. The Carnival ships are fun but do not have as many activities on ship as Royal Caribbean.
