What courses should I take to meet the requirements to work for the Disney Cruise Line?

I have recently thought about carreers I would like to have and what college to go to. The thing is, I have no idea what classes to take to be a character, like a princess, on the disney cruise line. Can anyone help me?

I would think that they’d look for a variety of different things. Some things that could be helpful would be a second (or even third) language. Certainly any acting courses would help. As well you could consider early childhood education, childhood development, or elementary education.

Disney is known for their internship program, have you considered applying for one of their programs? Experience as a character at one of their parks could help.

Will my kids fall off the Disney Cruise Line ship?

Kids are 3 and 10 months. Hubby really wants to book it, but I’m worried they will fall overboard!
Duh…3 years of age and 10 months!

Dude, people are rude….common sense…I’ve been on a cruise line. 3 year olds are prone to some running. Just a little worried!
PS. Disney girl. Poor you! You’re 20 and ugly!! Ahhh…….

At their age, there is no risk of falling overboard. They would quite literally have to scale railings which slope inward to prevent such a thing, without anyone at all noticing them.

Of course, watch your children; afterall you are the parent and are responsible for them. However, keep in mind that all Disney ships are/will be (for the future ones) designed with young children in mind. That includes safety.

Ride the AquaDuck- Disney Cruise Line

The AquaDuck water coaster will sweep guests on a 765-foot high-speed flume ride with uphill acceleration and a swing-out loop letting you look down to the ocean 150 feet below. While you’ll have to wait until 2011, when disney cruise line launches the Disney Dream, to experience the “real” AquaDuck, this video will give you the virtual experience.
