Best cruise ship/line?

so my mom decided that she was going to take me and 5 of my best friends for a cruise this summer, and i get to pick the line and ship. were all teens aged 13-15. i already know i dont want disney, ive been on their ships twice and i wanna try something new. what would you reccomend? i wanna do something classy and elegant yet fun and relaxed. i want there to be a teen lounge and stuff too. im thinking royal caribbean. any advice?

My kids have been cruising with me since they were 4 (now they are 15 and 17). Royal Caribbean is their favorite cruise line. Lots of activities (rock climbing wall, in line skating track, ice skating rink, wave rider, zip line- please note that all activities are not available on every ship), nice age mix on the ship (enough other teens), quality teen club. Make sure you select a week when school is out (spring break, summer, etc) so that there will be more teens on board. What is the quickest way to the Aquaduck on the disney dream cruise ship?

I know it’s going to be packed and my family and I want to go on the Aquaduck but not wait in line for a huge amount of time. Please help!

If you want to ride it, you’ll have to wait in line like anyone else. The lines during the day are around 30-40 minutes long. However, they do decrease to almost no wait during the night when everybody else is at the show or dinner. The aquaduck closes at midnight btw. If the temperature is your concern, let me tell you, it is slightly cooler during the night, but it’s really not cold at all; and I was in the middle of December. At one point I considered riding it during the night because it looked so cool with the lights, but I decided to do other things on the ship.

Does anyone curently work for the Disney Cruise line?

I’m looking to get some info from someone that actually works on one of their ships, at this time. I worked for the hotels in Florida, so I love the company. However that was about 10 years ago and I’m still kicking myself for not jumping at the chance to work for their cruise line when I was in my 20’s.
Is it worth it now? What are the living conditions like? How long are you at sea? Is the pay worth it? Are you able to actually save money?
Please, I’m not looking for jokers, just real cast members that want to share their pearls of wisdom.

Well, I’m not a cast member, but I can tell you that if you are American, you’re not going to be hired for the cruise lines. One exception is the NCL Pride, which sails only in Hawaii and has a reputation for very poor service [because the staff is all US]. I have occasionally seen a US citizen on the dance/entertainment staff.

What cruise line has an ice rink?
